Meanwhile

And yes!!! I learned how to repair the tire of my bike.
I am a psycho bout perfect symmetry of the tires.... even a 0.5 degree bend makes me takes the bike to the nearby repair shop.....
Meanwhile nobody can & i willing to repair a Schwinn* in Durgapur. Wonder what would they do if i take a Bianchi* to themm.....maybe faint :-)....... Necessity is really the mother of invention...

Plus 2 spokes of rear tire broken.....have to travel 400kms to purchase them :-(

(for non biking folks - Schwinn & Bianchi bicycles are foreign brands. Schwinn is known for leisure & Bianchi for racing bikes)  ...........

Cycling is not fun??? No..no...no....its smthin else to me
Then what is that which makes me ride......hmmmmm..... its the pain!!!
It is the pain, that nostalgic feeling, that feeling that brings me to the verge of fainting....Yes thats what keeps me & as a matter of fact every cyclist in the world moving.

A short ride

Night comes a bit early in durgapur...... there is an actual time difference of 46 mins between Delhi & Dgr

All excuses for my lethargy!!!!!  Still riding alone proves to be a bit of pain...missin u guys....
I used to ride alone in Delhi too...but every now & then somebody would come on his bike & I would wave at him & say hii............phew!!!!!!!!!

So...bout the ride....to the nearest chaiwala & then to doodhwala....not gr8 stuff but still gettin on the saddle is the bigger thing...isnt it???

Goin off to delhi tommo..... hoping to meet Delhi cyclists there :-)

Bike's back tire is skewed......... damn the break van in the train.
And the mechanic says that he cant see after 4 in the evening LoL

Will be off for a short ride in the morning..... the roads out here are a rider's paradise (or hell!!!!!)....... snaking all the way... Up & Down....Up & Down....Up & Down....Up & Down....Up & Down....Up & Down....

I welcome myself to the world of blogging.

Word of caution : This blog will strictly not be about Me up close & personal....but bout smthin which is far closer to me....My Bike & The Rides (f course on the bike)....so keep off  if you are "not the rider stuff" or "free spirit" in the heart....

Let me introduce myself.....
1. I am Anku
2. Friends call me Anku
3. I dwindle between Delhi & Durgapur every month or so...which is roughly 1300 kms.(not on bike)
4. An avid bike rider... I have done quite a few long rides & numerous short rides with Delhi Cyclists
5. So if you happen in Durgapur & happen to come across a guy on cycle pounding the pedals....its me (its a      bit difficult to spot me in delhi) :-)
